Who we are
The Cowasuck Band of the Pennacook-Abenaki are descendants of the original people of this land. We were not all killed off by disease or warfare, and we did not disappear with colonization. We are among you, working beside you in all walks of life. INHCC is one of the ways the Band brings that living history back into focus and corrects long-standing misconceptions about Native People in New England.
